How I collect, use and protect your personal information.

PichPich respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected on this site, why, and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible for your data

This site is operated by PichPich, a sole proprietorship owned by Joyce Eva Nolla, based in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia (Canada). For any question about the protection of your personal information, write to joyceevanolla@pichpich.ca.

2. What data I collect

I only collect the data I need to answer your requests and deliver my services:

  • Contact form data: your name, your email, your company or project name (optional), the type of need, and the message you write.
  • Language preference: your FR or EN choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). It stays on your device and is not sent to me.
  • Minimal technical data: like any website, the host may keep connection logs (IP address, date, pages viewed) for security and proper operation.

This site uses no advertising cookies, no marketing trackers and no third-party tracking pixels. No advertising profile is built from your visit.

3. Why I collect this data

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a possible call.
  • To provide the services you request and follow up on our work together.
  • To keep the site secure and working properly.
  • To meet my legal and accounting obligations.

The basis for this processing is your consent (when you choose to write to me) and my legitimate interest in running my professional activity.

4. Tools and processors

To run the site, I rely on trusted providers that may process some data on my behalf:

  • Formspree: processes the contact form submission and forwards your message to me. Formspree servers are located in the United States.
  • LWS: hosts the website.
  • Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google servers, which may transmit your IP address to Google when the page is displayed.

Some of these providers are located outside Canada. Your data may therefore be processed in another country, subject to its own laws.

5. Data retention

I keep the messages I receive for as long as needed to handle your request and, where relevant, for the duration of our work together and the legal obligations that follow. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.

6. Sharing your data

I do not sell or rent your data. I only share it with the processors listed above, or where required by law.

7. Your rights

Under applicable Canadian laws (notably PIPEDA federally and BC's PIPA), you have the right to:

  • access the personal information I hold about you;
  • request its correction if it is inaccurate;
  • request its deletion;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and I take reasonable measures to protect your data. As no system is infallible, I cannot, however, guarantee absolute security.

9. Minors

This site is aimed at a professional audience and is not directed at people under 16. I do not knowingly collect data about minors.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated. The last updated date appears at the top of the page. Please review it from time to time.
